Our mission is to provide our customers with original high end Roots and culture garments and accessories that express their uniqueness and cultural identity.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
It was 1998, I was 18 just finished high school and I was a young mother. Being inspired by the Rastafarian movement I decided to dread my hair. At that time there weren't many people with dreadlocks in Toronto, in fact you probably could count them on your two hands. I wanted to cover my dreadlocks so I searched for a tam and found one from the only Rasta people in the area it was $45. I remember thinking at the time how much money I would have to spend on tams as there wasn't much variety. So I prayed and asked The Most High to give me this skill. Within six months of me asking I learned how to crochet hats and I joined a business that specialized in crocheting hats and clothing. About two years after I left that business and started my own business called Inity. I started making and selling crochet hats as well as a variety of other Rastafarian inspired handmade products. Later on I changed the name to Inity Orijahnal and here we are today.
